As a British curriculum international school in Abu Dhabi, we participate in two forms of inspections: one from the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and another from British Schools Overseas (BSO).

Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK)
The Irtiqaa Inspection Program was launched by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) as part of the government’s strategy to elevate the education system and maximise student potential. Irtiqaa provides comprehensive insights into the performance of private schools in Abu Dhabi, helping to guide improvements at both the school and policy levels. This is achieved through various measures, including annual inspections, detailed feedback on strengths and areas for development, and tailored improvement plans.
Conducted by trained and authorised inspectors from ADEK, Irtiqaa assesses schools against international standards to ensure they meet the desired quality criteria. Through this approach, Irtiqaa provides ADEK, the Abu Dhabi Government, and the public with a clear and accurate understanding of the quality of education in private schools across the Emirate.
